Sua eta ura

Kaixo berriro. Azken egun hauetan, uraren zikloa landu dugu eta, horretarako, hodei batzuk, pintzelak erabiliz, urdinez margoztu ondoren, kotoiak itsasi eta puntzoiez euri tantak zulatu ditugu. Bukatzeko, artile zati batzuk lotu dizkiegu tantei.

In groups, we talked about and stuck all the tools we thought that belonged to firefighters with blue-tack on a cardboard.

Then, Leire told us about the new vocabulary related to firefighters.

We also created our own firefighter. Look!

Etor zaitezte suhiltzaileen mundura!

 Kaixo. Astelehenean, sirena bat entzun genuen gelan. A ze sustoa! Baina, egon lasai. Sirena hura "Sua, sua suhiltzailea" izeneko proiektuaren abiapuntua besterik ez zen izan.

Suhiltzaileen inguruko ezaugarri guztiak ezagutzeko irrikitan geunden eta, hasteko, gure lagunek ekarritako gauzak ikusi genituen.

Una de las herramientas más útiles a la hora de apagar un incendio es el extintor. Por eso, Arrate nos ha acompañado por el colegio para localizar varios de los extintores que tenemos a mano en caso de necesitarlos.

With Leire, we watched a video about the firefighters and their job.

We, also, worked cooperatively. Firstly, we did a Visible Thinking Routine (Think, Pair, Share) in which our English teacher, after showing us tools from different professions, gave us a few minutes to think and draw, individually on a paper, which ones we believed firefighters use.

Finally, we shared it with the whole group.

Then, we  used the thinking routine KWL to work on what we know and what we want to know about firefighters.

Finally, we coloured a handout about the firefighters.

¿Sabéis qué hemos hecho? Hemos convertido nuestras manos en un grupo de bomberos, preparado con una manguera para apagar cualquier fuego. Entre esos bomberos... ¡Estábamos nosotras y nosotros! ¡Nos han quedado superbien!
